About
Every object tells a story. We start with a simple belief — the things we surround ourselves with should be beautiful, purposeful, and made with intention. As seasoned designers, we curate with a practiced eye, sourcing premium goods from around the world. ØSTMOE honors a family name and a deep affinity for Scandinavian design — where simplicity is never an afterthought, and form always follows function.

"Paper nerds may recognize [Kristine] as the owner of Flourish, a beloved stationery store in Wallingford from 2001–2006 and Phinney Ridge from 2013–2014. She opened ØSTMOE in January, after a whirlwind few months: In October, the graphic and interior designer and serial entrepreneur had seen a “For Rent” sign in the window of a narrow space she’d coveted for years. She signed the rental agreement soon after, transforming the former architect’s office into a picture-perfect display for her grown-up collection of ephemera."

"Tucked into a pocket-sized storefront just off Bainbridge’s main street, ØSTMOE is a treasure trove of stationery, fine papers and office supplies, lovingly curated... A graphic designer by trade, [Kristine] sources locally-made letterpress and bespoke stationery, as well as pens and writing supplies from Japan and England."
