Hello! I'm Kristine. Originally from Minnesota,
I now have the good fortune to call Bainbridge Island, Washington home.
With a lifelong career as a designer, I am also a passionate curator + provisioner of premium stationery and goods from around the globe. ØSTMOE is both my maiden name + an expression of my love of Scandinavian design, favoring a minimal, clean approach that seeks
to combine functionality with beauty.

She opened ØSTMOE in January, after a whirlwind few months: In October, the graphic and interior designer and serial entrepreneur had seen a “For Rent” sign in the window of a narrow space she’d coveted for years. She signed the rental agreement soon after, transforming the former architect’s office into a picture-perfect display for her grown-up collection of ephemera."
